About Us
“You can’t put a price on creating a feeling”
Hey, I'm Jimmy - founder, host and the fella in the gold sparkly suit
I spent five years in HR at a Shoreditch tech company, making socials thrive and giving workplace culture a proper heartbeat.
Along the way I figured out exactly why so many team events miss the mark. Gen Z don't come into the office. Millennials have team-building fatigue. Gen X would rather be in the pub. And nobody wants another trip to play bowling, darts or crazy golf!
That's why I created Show Time. A high-energy, TV-style game show that actually gets people laughing, bonding, leaving with stories they'll still be telling months later.
Because team events aren't really about the activity. They're about how people feel walking out. Whether they feel seen, included, energised and like they're part of something. The buzzer moments up at the podium, the chaos of Carrot in a Box, the confetti finale. They create shared memories that stick. Because fun isn't a distraction from productivity, it's a driver of it.
What started as me in the evenings after work in a gold suit has grown into a proper operation. We now have a team of show hosts, all trained performers who know how to work a room, bring in the introverts alongside the extroverts, and make sure every single person feels part of the show.
We've delivered hundreds of corporate events for teams across the UK. L'Oréal, Coca-Cola, Linklaters, Hays, Snapchat and Savills have all trusted us to deliver and over 250 five-star reviews say we haven't let them down.
I’ve had a varied career. As well as five years in HR, I've written questions for Who Wants To Be a Millionaire and The Million Pound Drop, I've also written and produced my own sitcom for the BBC and I was in the very first episode of Made In Chelsea where I played (convincingly, may I add) the role of ‘man in queue’.
When I’m not in the gold suit, you’ll find me with my fox-red lab Bella, hunting for a husband, or watching Tottenham lose. Usually all on the same day.
